Our bunk rooms are ideal for larger groups, families with older kids, or simply a group of friends travelling together. Built with a connecting balcony, the Terrace Block (bunk house), has a customer kitchen, toilets, 4 bunk rooms; Green Meadows, Blue Skies, Lava and Seaglow.

Each bunk room sleeps 6, and all are provided fully supplied with linen, duvets and towels.

The view out each rooms front door is stunning, with native forest, the Rangitikei River, and opposite, a waterfall that cascades several hundred feet down to the river. This really is New Zealand the way you imagined it would be.

For adventuring families, or just a group of friends, we also have a larger family room. With a private bathroom, king sized bed, and two sets of bunks, this room can be a great hideaway for a night or two if you are taking part in one of our family adventures.

For families with older children, we suggest you book the “Paua” Garden Deluxe ensuited room, and arrange to put the children in a bunk room next door. A good solution for both children and adults!
