Over the last few weeks we have been busy plotting out the departure dates for multi-day trips for next season (2017/2018), which are now all available for booking on the website. Excitingly, we have opened up more multi-day departure dates than ever before!
Most of our multi-day trips can be booked from October through to April, but here are a few ‘jewel in the crown’ trips that would make for a once in a lifetime experience:
Bring in the New Year on a Whanganui River 6-day Wooden Dory Experience
27th December 2017 – 1st January 2018
A once-in-a-lifetime, exclusive experience taking a 6-day guided journey down the Whanganui River on wooden river dories.
River Dories provide a level of comfort, charm and elegance that you simply do not get with other boats. The boats are dry for passengers, quick on the water and have ample space to carry quality camping equipment. This enables you to camp in style.
Spend your final night camping out riverside on New Year’s Eve.

Make the most of the Auckland/Nelson Anniversary Long-Weekend
with our premium multi-day rafting product, the Rangitikei River Headwaters Trip, you can spend your long-weekend rafting the beautiful Rangitikei River.
26 th January 2018 – 31st January 2018
Spend a night in an Ensuite Deluxe Guest Room at River Valley Lodge both before and after the river trip. The following day take a 20-minute helicopter flight in to the start point high in the Kaimanawa Ranges in the central North Island of New Zealand. Followed by three days rafting on the river with rapids up to Grade/Class 3, camping each night with good food and great scenery.
