River Valley Welcomes Rugby Followers
Now into the second week of the Rugby World Cup, and what a show!
While I must admit to being one of those who initially was not that excited about the whole tournament, it has certainly managed to take over as the talking point of each day.
Suddenly all the staff are experts on the more arcane aspects of playing rugby and team selection, with long, involved discussions at the Bar, normally lubricated by a couple of beers.
It is with pleasure that we have welcomed people to the Lodge who are over in NZ to watch the games. Most are also enjoying the white water that only the Rangitikei can bring, with some also exploring the countryside by horse back.
