Searching for the unique "thing"
Searching for the "One Thing"
If you are reading this then you have found your way to the updated River Valley website. This has been a labour of love for quite some time, and it is exciting to get it finally live.
Part of the process of getting to this point have been lots of deep thoughts about what the purpose of the business is, and what makes it unique. Quite a number of ideas were tabled and discarded. You see what we were looking for had to be the thing that our customers experienced or took away from their time at River Valley.
All the time the unique thing - the one thing - was sitting there staing us in the face.
Three Generations
Three generations of guides with a deep attachment to the river and the land.
What does this mean to our customers?
It means that when they take part in a River Valley experience, looking over the shoulder of the guide steering their raft, or riding the horse next to them, are the spirits of three generations of guides, who are passionate that their experience be as good as it can be.
No other adventure company in New Zealand can say that.
This is our one thing.
